Designing & Creating A Karaoke Music Library Web Application

If you've been reading my blog, by now you have probably guessed that one of my hobbies is building my karaoke library. To date, I have over 1,400 songs.

So, since I'm a web developer and would like to learn ASP.NET  3.5/Ajax, I thought it would be nice to keep a history of all the recorded karaoke sessions in one central location, where others can browse and enjoy, too. In addition, a song list area where my new karaoke tracks can easily be added to a karaoke library would be ideal.

I was really looking forward to updating my new site with web parts; however, my godaddy free hosting account only provides 200mb SQL Server database. It would be nice to find an example of how to use web parts with an Access database. No biggie. My plan is to build my own Content Management System as I did for NEPURS.
